By combining the experience gained in the development of both our manual system (401-ME) and our electrical operation system (501-EL), we have engineered the best unfailing solution, which offers you the best of both worlds: the easy operation of an electrical system with the reliability of a manual system.
On top of ElCargo’s proven 501-EL electrical operation system, the 541-EM comes with a manual mechanism that allows you to manually open or close your tarp should the electrical system of your truck or trailer fail. An air tool (without hammering) can also be used to activate the manual open/close mechanism.
Like all mechanical tarp systems form ElCargo, the 541-EM can be fitted to almost any open roof trailer. It offers the same benefits as all ElCargo systems: waterproof, easy and quick to operate, and most of all, it allows you to save fuel by as much as 14.93%.
